markItUp! plugin for Markdown
  • I have written a Flatpress plugin that adds a markItUp! toolbar to the Markdown plugin (yes, a plugin for a plugin!). You can download from here. You will also need to have the Markdown plugin installed and enabled.

The plugin adds a toolbar to the editor that gives you the ability to easily paste commonly used Markdown syntax when editing posts.

Install it in the usual way. It may or may not play nice with the BBCode plugin. If it gives you grief, disable the BBCode plugin.

markItUp! is pretty flexible and exensible, so I encourage you to read the docs to add what you want to the plugin.

Tested on a Windows XP XAMPP server with FF3.
