Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID 'localtime' is invalid in core.date.php on line 3
  • 2 Questions:

    1) I've transferred website www.warsintheworld.com from a Tophost to Aruba, and now above the webpages I have the error:

    Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID 'localtime' is invalid in /web/htdocs/www.warsintheworld.com/home/fp-includes/core/core.date.php on line 3

    So if put inside core.date.php this row below I have the problem:
    date_default_timezone_set('localtime');

    instead if I put this row, I've another problem (articles are 2 hours before than I write) :
    date_default_timezone_set('UTC');

    So wich is the better solution ?
    How I can resolv ?

    2) Another thing, in php.ini  on Aruba, if I set "zip_cgi.fix_pathinfo"  every article is seen correctly, instead if I don't want errors showed above:
    Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID 'localtime' is invalid in /web/htdocs/www.warsintheworld.com/home/fp-includes/core/core.date.php on line 3

    and I set "display_errors_off" errors are not more showed, but if I click on an article, there is an error "No input file specified" in every article.

    So, who use Aruba like server, how have resolved these 2 problems ?

    Thanks
  • I've resolved inserting inside /fp-includes/core/core.date.php on the first row
    date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Rome');
    and not "localtime" or "UTC".

    Then in php.ini of Aruba, setting:
    zip_cgi.fix_pathinfoImpostazioni avanzate per utenti esperti con:
    cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1 e Estensione Zip Abilitata

    I use php 5.3.28 version.
