    in the new svn subversion you can search with date format. There is no language file to translate the given date list/select box. If I look into \sharedtpls\search.tpl, I found following line:
    ----
    {$lang.search.datedescr}
    ----

    Is a language file needed to translate the date list/select box? If so, what filename must be used and shoulld this file also placed in fp-interface\lang\[lang-dir]?

    Last evening I have finished the alpha "de-de" language pack for svn. Next step I download the SVN #63 and change the language to german (all files from fp-interface\lang\en-en are translated to "de-de").

    The search "select date" list box is not changed to german, all months are in english. Do you have take a look on this case?

    probably I forgot, I'll fix it :)

    as you are translating would you please test and take a look at the comments panel and the delete messages?
    I've changed the configuration of the strings two days ago

    @NoWhereMan
    "would you please test and take a look at the comments panel and the delete messages?"

    It seems to work, yes, I have delete comments and entries :)
    I think, you will know if the dialog with the question "Delete really?" will appear, yes, it came up.

    But I'm a very poor beginner. Some words in the translation give no sence and I make a few mistakes. OK, it is the alpha lang pack, hehe...

    If you will have the alpha lang pack (de-de) to get self a look into, please tell me. I will send it to you as mail or transfer it to the wiki.

    Edit://
    In the Admin panel I can change the dateformat to german version, but the weekday didn't appear. It is the attribute "%A". I have tested it local on XAMPP with the german and english language pack. Any solution?

    no really my concerns were about the confirmation message (comment deleted successfully), I've made a few changes these days, so I don't know if you're in sync.

    don't worry, just ask!

    upload it to the wiki, no probs: have you translated plugins as well?

    Not yet, only the interface language.

    First I will have a translation that make sense, so I try most things in the Admin panel and add my "preferred personal feeling" how to name the navigation, select boxes and text, certainly based on the english language. Hope most german people enjoy this way...

    I see it and download the nightly snapshot (SVN revision #68) today morning. Then I setup this version and found the next bug. The day of week is now displayed, but today is Wednesday and not Sunday? I try it also with the english language pack and after a new setup, SVN revision #68 mean today is Sunday. Hm...

    This morning I have installed SVN#73 local on a windows host (WinXP) with XAMPP 1.5.4 for Windows. Nice, SVN#73 tell me, that today is Sunday, but it is Thursday. Is there going something wrong?

    Yes, there is something wrong. I try to setup SVN#73 on a linux host (Fedora Core 5) with Apache 2.2.0. Great, today is Thursday and SVN#73 also tell me that today is Thursday. On linux, of course, the date will appear correct, but not in my local test environment on Windows with XAMPP.

    Only as information for you :D

    i'm quite puzzled, last test i did was on windows, so i chose the parameters that should have worked on both...

    to test on windows I use pampa http://pampa.phpsoft.it/

    if it returns sunday it's probably because the function strftime('%w', time) returns false...
