    I don't know if the title explains it well...
    I'm working on a new theme (strange, huh? :P) and I'd like to view post info (author, date, ...) in a way when I click on a single post, and in another way when I'm on my home page.

    I took a look at index.tpl and entry-default.tpl and I think that the "problem" is that entry-default is called recursively from index, so post infos are printed twice (one from entry-default and one from index). How can I solve this? I looked at Smarty manuals, but I'm not able to realize how to come out of it... Should I use a particular function or a conditions?

    There's a way to solve this thing or is unrealizable?

    {if $smarty.request.entry}
    {* permalink style here *}
    {else}
    {* normal here *}
    {/if}

    I think I'll add a "singlepost.tpl" ability for Crescendo+1

    bye

    That "singlepost.tpl" will be a nice feature : )

    Thanks a lot! Works fine!

    For future releases (if it's not a problem) what about a widgets.conf.php file for each theme? So each theme would have it's configuration, and there won't be problem if someone changes his theme... (I'm not changing style everyday, so there's no problem, but could be an idea...)

    So, if you switch theme to a new one you'd lose all your settings? I'd prefer having to just copy&paste to the new positions

    BTW,

    1) the new drag and drop panel should make this easier and quicker

    2) open another discussion for suggestions

    3) Stop bugging me at university, LOL :D (just kidding; but he's really studying with me)

    Yep :)
