    Hi all,
    is there any way to enable bbcode parsing in comments?

    Thanks :)

    Hello,

    I don't know if it's the right procedure (in this case NWM will speak ...):

    open /fp-plugins/bbcode/plugin.bbcode.php

    and set

    define('BBCODE_ENABLE_COMMENTS', false);

    to

    define('BBCODE_ENABLE_COMMENTS', true);

    The TAGS enabled will be those listed under the function plugin_bbcode_comment() (lines 634)

    That's it :D
    Thanks

    Just a glitch: the parser simply ignores [url= ] [/url ] tags :(

    (space added to avoid forum parsing)

    yes. IIRC that's how it's meant to work; [url= is disabled for comments, urls are parsed automatically

    you can't. it's meant to prevent spam. btw, you can add that by hand opening the plugin.bbcode.php and editing consequently the plugin_bbcode_comment() function (IIRC)

    Is there a way to put the options
    define('...');
    in the plugin panel (maybe beside 'PrettyURL Config'...), instead of editing the plugin.bbcode.php?

    ok. that was maybe too laconic :D

    it's planned.

    but now I'd ask you to please focus on helping me with testing the alpha/SVN. This way we can close that chapter and THEN start

    1) the new release cycle, with the new backend (my thesis)
    2) having fun with GUIs ;)

    bye

    You're using list tag that it's not implemented in comment bbcode (function plugin_bbcode_comment, declared in line 749 of plugin.bbcode.php)

    why not using a simpler syntax for the comments of your blog, such as markdown?
