    Im new to this flatpress engine, but im trying to use flatpress more of a statics website than a blog. So i can't have the dates just laying around.

    I think you can modify the themes.
    They're filed in fp-interface/themes. There is a how to in the wiki.
    Hope that helps.

    Leggero Theme as sample. Open following files of the theme you use:
    (find here: fp-interface/themes/...theme name...)

    - entry-default.tpl
    - preview.tpl
    - previewstatic.tpl
    - static.tpl

    Find in these files all lines like this:

    ... {$date|date_format_daily:"<h2 class=\"date\">`$fp_config.locale.dateformat`</h2>"}
    ... {$date|date_format}


    and delete this lines or comment these lines out with:

    {* {$date|date_format...} *}

    preemptive answer: no, you can't hide dates in prettyURLs plugin, and, yes, you can customize it if you know your way to hide the dates. Or you can use the redirect plugin by pierovdfn, which does something similar.
