    Hi There!!
    I have an account at 110mb and I saw they recommended Flatpress as a great blog to install there (ACtually I think it says people will love it ;-) ). I Followed the instructions and installed it and it works just fine, especially for me as I know very little about php and stuff. But this is also my problem I think as when I post something to the blog it shows the author as my user name and not the one I put in the blog author in the config section. I looked through the files in Flatpress to see if I could see how to fix this but my knowledge of html, php, etc isn't great. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks a lot :-)

    let me explain this.

    The author of the blog is not the author of the posts.

    Yeah, that might sound a bit strange, as you actually are one and only, and as FP doesn't support (really) multiuser access, but this behaviour is in fact a "placeholder" for a future multiuser support.

    In this sense, the blog "author" is the owner of the blog: for instance, this might appear in the <head> section of your html page, while the author of each post might change for each new post, and is therefore identified by the userid, and that's what it is used.

    Anyway, you can still edit the template and use the special template global variable {$flatpress.AUTHOR} instead of {$author} (which is local to the entry).

    This global variable might not work in the future (imminent...) release.

    I hope I was clear enough.

    As you've probably just started your blog, I might suggest to reinstall choosing a more descriptive userid.

    That said, have fun with FP! :)

    Thanks for your help, I'll just reistall and start again as it'll be easier with me not knowing anything about php and stuff :-)
