You must edit that in the "Widget" panel, in the admin control panel of Flatpress.

To add an own widget you must use the blockparser plugin.

    'blockparser:name_of_the_page'

    Sorry for my english =D

Thanks, I mean that I am quite familiar with Wordpress and it is easy to edit or add anything or advertisements to sidebar but I found difficult to do with FlatPress even I like this very much. Another question that I would like to make advertisements display in one place whenever I post new articles, in wordpress I can add an ads code in one place and no more, please give me details as I am not an IT expert, so sorry for long question

you can open your theme, where you probably have an index.tpl template : between the {entry} {/entry} tags you can put html code for ads

as for the widgets you can move them around editing the list, and create custom blocks with static contents using blockparser, on which you can find more information searching on this forum and on the wiki

    bye

notepad should be able to do that, but as source files got unix-encoded line ends you'll probably find another editor more suitable, like notepad++ for instance

On Windows you can use PSPad. This editor can handle most files without any problems, also UTF-8, unix files and much more.

On linux you can use Bluefish, it's nearly the same as PSPad on WIndows.
