    Hello,

although I list "dmo" as blog author in the configuration, the articles are always signed with "admin".
    "admin" is the login name.
Should the articles not be automatically signed with dmo, because the variable {$author} is used in the tpl-files?

author is the login name of who writes the article. The author in the config panel is the author of the blog, and it is shown in the <head> of your blog (IIRC)

    Thank you for the information.

I have to run the setup once again to create a new user who replace the old, as i read here?

Do i have to delete the file in \fp-content\users\ first?

if you choose the same username (case sensitive) it will be overwritten, but I guess it's not what you want.

you can delete the old user manually, deleting the file users/my-old-user.php or you can just keep it.

remember old entries won't be affected by the change

I think not, also not with the standard-layout. But this does not matter.
