    I would like to change the date of some of my older posts to rearange their order ("refresh" older posts etc.)
    I installed the datechange plugin and started to edit the code

    if (! (
    basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) == 'admin.php' && // must be admin area
    @$_GET['p'] == 'entry' && // must be right panel
    @$_GET['action'] == 'write' && // must be right action
    !(@$_POST['timestamp'] || @$_REQUEST['entry']) if (! (
    basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) == 'admin.php' && // must be admin area
    @$_GET['p'] == 'entry' && // must be right panel
    @$_GET['action'] == 'write' && // must be right action
    //!(@$_POST['timestamp'] || @$_REQUEST['entry']) // must be a new entry

    so the menu is displayed all the time.
    But when i change the date of an existing entry - nothing happens.
    As my PHP-Skills are pretty bad, I wonder if anybody could help me: can I get this to work by disabeling some more lines for example?

    it simply won't work by uncommenting a line; changing the date of an already-created entry involves

    a) moving the old comments
    b) deleting the old entry
    c) creating a new entry with the new date

    there are at least 3 points of failure here, that's why that line is there ;)

    bye
